For they don’t sleep unless they do evil. Their sleep is taken away, unless they make someone fall.


While they were trying to kill him, a report reached the commander of the regiment that all Jerusalem was in chaos.


When Paul got to the stairs, he had to be carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd,


When a dispute became so great that the commander was afraid that Paul would be torn to pieces by them, he ordered the troops to go down and seize him from them and bring him into the barracks.


He summoned two of the centurions and said, “Y’all prepare two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen, and two hundred men armed with spears, to go as far as Caesarea tonight.


He even tried to profane the temple, and we arrested him.


When you examine him, you will be able to recognize all the things we accuse him of.”
