But if y’all won’t listen, my soul will weep in secret for your pride. My eye will weep-and-weep, and overflow with tears, because YHWH’s flock has been taken captive.


Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes a spring of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!


As he approached Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it,


If anyone serves me, let them follow me. Where I am, there my deacon will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor them.

For even when we came into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest. Instead, we were squeezed on every side, conflicts on the outside, fears within.


For am I now seeking the favor of humans or of God? Or am I striving to please humans? For if I were still pleasing humans, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.


Serve with good will as to the Lord and not to humans,


For as I have told y’all often and am telling y’all now as I weep, there are many who walk as enemies of the cross of Christ,


knowing that y’all will receive the reward of the inheritance from the Lord. It is the Lord Christ y’all serve.


for the people themselves are reporting what kind of reception we had with y’all, and how y’all turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,


longing to see you, remembering your tears, so that I may be filled with joy.


Y’all should consider it all joy, my siblings, when y’all fall into various trials,


In this y’all greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, y’all may have been grieved by various trials,


Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have received a faith as precious as ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:


For this reason, they are before the throne of God, and they serve ʜɪᴍ day and night in his temple. The one who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.
