It happened again in Iconium, where they entered the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed.


For since ancient times, Moses has been preached in every city and has been read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”


On the Sabbath day we went outside of the city gate to a riverside where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and spoke to the women who had gathered there.


As soon as it was night, the siblings sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.


Now the Jews there were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with great eagerness and examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were true.


But when the Jews of Thessalonica had found out that Paul was also proclaiming the word of God in Berea, they came there too, inciting and disturbing the crowds.


Paul was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica, Gaius from Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus from the province of Asia.


We boarded a ship from Adramyttium which was about to sail to places along the coast of Asia. Then we put to sea, along with Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, who was with us.


For even when I was in Thessalonica, more than once, y’all sent something for my needs.


Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to y’all.


Although we suffered and were mistreated in Philippi, as y’all know, we found confidence in our God to tell y’all the gospel of God amid deep opposition.

because Demas deserted me, having loved this present age, and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
