I have remembered your name, YHWH, in the night, and I obey your law.


At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, because of your righteous ordinances.


My God, I cry by day, but you don’t answer; by night, I am not silent.


I will bless YHWH at all times. Hɪꜱ praise will always be in my mouth.


YHWH will command ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness in the daytime. In the night ʜɪꜱ song will be with me: a prayer to the God of my life.


Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”


I am a marvel to many, but you are my strong refuge.


In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.


I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:


He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.


Y’all will have a song, as in the night when a holy feast is kept, and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a flute to come to the mountain of YHWH, to Israel’s Rock.


Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you, are men who are a sign that I will bring out my servant, the Branch.


Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling down on the ground.

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and playing instruments in y’all’s heart to the Lord,


But even if I am poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of y’all’s faith, I am glad and rejoice with all y’all.


Now I rejoice in my sufferings for y’all’s sake, and fill up on my part what is lacking of Christ’s oppressions in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church.


In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and petitions with strong cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.


Y’all should consider it all joy, my siblings, when y’all fall into various trials,


Is anyone among y’all suffering? Let them pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let them play an instrument.


If y’all are insulted for the name of Christ, y’all are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on y’all.
