Y’all didn’t choose me, but I chose y’all and appointed y’all so that y’all would go and bear fruit, and that y’all’s fruit should remain. And so that whatever y’all ask in my name, the Father will give to y’all.


John answered, “No human can receive anything unless it has been given to them from heaven.


“Siblings, it was necessary for the Scripture to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide for those who arrested Jesus.


They prayed and said, “You Lord, the heart-knower of all people, show us which one of these two you have chosen


While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon! Three men are looking for you.


So get up, go downstairs. You are to go with them without hesitation because I have sent them.”


While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Y’all must set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”


Simeon has explained how God first visited the ethnic groups to select from them a people for ʜɪꜱ name.


This became a major argument and debate between them and Paul and Barnabas. So Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.


They had such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,


But I don’t consider my life worth even a single mention. Instead I aim to finish my race and the deacon-work which I received from the Lord Jesus—to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.


Some of the disciples from Caesarea also came with us and brought us to Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we would stay.


But this is how God fulfilled what ʜᴇ announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets—that ʜɪꜱ Christ would suffer.


You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant David, ‘Why do the ethnic groups rage, and the peoples plot in vain?


But the Lord said to him, “Go, for this man is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the ethnic groups, the kings, and the children of Israel.


Y’all should do everything without complaining and arguing,
