Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in your sight.


Having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, it seemed good to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,


They all joined together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers in constant prayer with one mind.


This became a major argument and debate between them and Paul and Barnabas. So Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.


Then it seemed good to the apostles, the elders, and the whole church to select men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, who were leading men among the siblings.


However, Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, along with many others.


The apostles and the elders gathered together to look into this matter.


Now when the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.


Every day, they devoted themselves to being of one mind in the temple, and breaking bread in homes. They ate their food with gladness and sincerity of heart,


Y’all greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa, who labor in the Lord. Y’all greet Persis, the beloved—she has labored much in the Lord.


Now I urge y’all, siblings, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that y’all agree with one another and that there be no divisions among y’all, but that y’all be perfected together in the same mind and in the same opinion.


When they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, those who were reputed to be pillars, gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the ethnic groups, and they to the circumcised.


So that y’all may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved sibling and faithful deacon in the Lord, will make everything known to y’all.


Tychicus, the beloved sibling, faithful deacon, and fellow slave in the Lord, will tell y’all about all my affairs.


With him is Onesimus, the faithful and beloved sibling, who is one of y’all. They will inform y’all of everything that is happening here.


no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved sibling, especially to me, but even more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.


Y’all should regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved sibling Paul also wrote to y’all according to the wisdom given to him,
