Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to YHWH, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.


Y’all must take words with you, and return to YHWH. Y’all must say to him, “Forgive all our sins, and receive us graciously, so we offer bulls as we vowed with our lips.


Now then, why are y’all tempting God by imposing a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither we nor our ancestors were able to endure?


Because we have heard that some went out from among us without our authorization and have troubled y’all with words that unsettled y’all’s souls,


For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden y’all beyond these essentials:


They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who live among the ethnic groups to abandon Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children and not to walk according to our customs.


As for those among the ethnic groups who have believed, we have written our decision that they should keep themselves from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from what is strangled, and from sexual immorality.”


but first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and all throughout Judea, then also to the ethnic groups, I proclaimed that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds worthy of repentance.


This was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who snuck in to spy on our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus so that they might bring us into bondage.


for the people themselves are reporting what kind of reception we had with y’all, and how y’all turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,
