He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of YHWH, and to commemorate, to thank, and to praise YHWH, the God of Israel:


I set my face to the Lord God, to seek by prayer and petitions, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.


“Moreover, when y’all fast, don’t be like the hypocrites with sullen faces. For they disfigure their faces so that humans will notice them fasting. Truly I tell y’all, they have received their reward.


Therefore, y’all should ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into ʜɪꜱ harvest.”


After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others, and sent them two by two ahead of him into every town and place where he was about to go.


and then was a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never departed from the temple, serving night and day through fasting and prayer.


While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon! Three men are looking for you.

I have been in labor and hardship, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, and been cold and naked.

But when God, who set me apart from mother’s womb and called me through ʜɪꜱ grace, was pleased


I was made a deacon according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of ʜɪꜱ power.
