Again, assuredly I tell y’all, that if two of y’all agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.


Then Jesus told them a parable about the need to always pray and not give up.


When he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John (also called Mark), where many had gathered and were praying.


After arresting him, he put him in prison and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending to bring him out to the people after the Passover.


The night before Herod was to bring him out for trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries in front of the door were guarding the prison.


When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.


as y’all join in helping us through your* prayers. Then many faces will give thanks for the gracious gift given to us through the prayers of many.


Y’all should remember those in prison as if you were with them, and those who are mistreated as if it were your body.


Therefore, y’all acknowledge your sins to one another and y’all pray for one another, so that y’all may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much.
