Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. Hᴇ will hear my voice.


Then he said to me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. For from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come for your words’ sake.


His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.


He said to them, “Y’all don’t be alarmed. You* are looking for Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him!


While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.


As he was going up, they were gazing into the sky, when suddenly two men stood by them in white clothing.


They said, “Cornelius the centurion, a righteous man who fears God, and who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish ethnic group, was divinely directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and listen to what you say.”


So I came without complaint when I was sent for. So may I ask why did y’all send for me?”


At about three in the afternoon, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, “Cornelius!”


and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your charitable deeds have been remembered in the sight of God.


Peter and John were going up to the temple for the time of prayer at three in the afternoon.
