So when he had washed their feet, he put his outer garment back on, sat down, and he said to them, “Do y’all know what I have done for y’all?


At about three in the afternoon, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, “Cornelius!”


They were all astounded and nonplussed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”


Since I was at a loss on how to investigate these matters, I asked if he was willing to go to Jerusalem and stand trial there on these charges.


Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple guard, and the chief priests heard this report, they were very bewildered, wondering what would come of this.
