For the Son of Humanity will come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to their deeds.


Truly I tell y’all, there are some standing here who will not taste of death until they see the Son of Humanity coming in his empire.”


Then the sign of the Son of Humanity will appear in the sky, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Humanity coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.


“When the Son of Humanity comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.


Then they will see the Son of Humanity coming in clouds with great power and glory.


But again he denied it. After a little while those who stood by said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.”


So then, after the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.


At that time, they will see the Son of Humanity coming in a cloud with power and great glory.


The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the earth. The men said to them, “Why are y’all seeking the living among the dead?


If I go and prepare a place for y’all, I will come again and will take y’all to be with me so that y’all may be where I am.


until the day he was take up, after he had given orders through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.


beginning from the baptism of John to the day that Jesus was taken up from us. One of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”


After he had said this, he was taken up while they were watching, and a cloud took him out of their sight.


and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are his witnesses to the people.


They were all amazed and marveled, saying, “Look, aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans?


When Peter saw this, he addressed the people, “Fellow Israelites, why do y’all marvel at this? Why do y’all stare at us, as though we made this man walk by our own power or godliness?


whom heaven must receive until the time of the restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.


and to wait for ʜɪꜱ Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead: Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.


For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.


so Christ also was offered once to bear the sins of many, and he will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.


Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Yes, Amen.
