My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.


Into your hand I commend my spirit. You redeem me, YHWH, God of truth.


Then my enemies will turn back in the day that I call. I know this: that God is for me.


Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, YHWH, have not abandoned those who seek you.


Indeed, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid. For Y’H, YHWH, is my strength and song, and ʜᴇ has become my salvation.”


For Lord YHWH will help me. Therefore I have not been confounded. Therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I won’t be disappointed.


“Don’t be afraid, for you will not be ashamed. Don’t be confounded, for you will not be disappointed. For you will forget the shame of your youth. You will remember the reproach of your widowhood no more.


YHWH is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and ʜᴇ knows those who take refuge in ʜɪᴍ.


In his name, the ethnic groups will hope.”


“But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains,


May the Lord grant that he will find the Lord’s mercy on that day. And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.


So don’t be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner. Instead, join with me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God,


for which I am suffering to the point of being bound as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound!


Finally the crown of righteousness is reserved for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day. And not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.


This is a trustworthy statement, and I want you to strongly affirm these things, so that those who have believed God may be careful to devote themselves to excellent works. These things are excellent and profitable for all humanity.


fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.


Therefore he is also able to save completely those who draw near to God through him, because he lives forever to intercede for them.


who by the power of God are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.


But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, do not be ashamed, but rather praise God that you bear such a name.


Therefore, those who suffer according to the will of God should entrust their souls to their faithful Creator as they do good.


Now to ʜɪᴍ who is able to keep y’all from stumbling and to present y’all faultless in the presence of ʜɪꜱ glory with great joy,
