After this, David struck the Philistines and subdued them. David took the bridle of the mother city out of the hand of the Philistines.


David did as God commanded him; and they attacked the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gezer.


The children of Israel went and did what YHWH had commanded Moses and Aaron.


For YHWH will rise up as on Mount Perazim. He will be angry as in the valley of Gibeon; that he may do his work, his unusual work, and bring to pass his act, his extraordinary act.
