The peoples will be burned to lime, like thorns cut down and burned in the fire.


You, son of humanity, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.


Y’all are to let both grow together until the harvest. At the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, y’all are to collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to burn them. Then y’all are to gather the wheat for my barn.”’”


They will cast them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.


But his subjects hated him, and sent an envoy after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be king over us.’
