Elisha said to him, “Take bow and arrows,” and he took bow and arrows for himself.


He said, “Open the window eastward,” and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot!” and he shot. He said, “YHWH’s arrow of victory, even the arrow of victory over Syria. You will strike the Syrians in Aphek until you have consumed them.”


He went up and lay on the boy, and put his mouth on his mouth, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. He stretched himself on him, and the boy’s flesh grew warm.
