I have told y’all these things so that my joy may remain in y’all and that y’all’s joy may be filled up.


“I still have many things to tell y’all, but y’all can’t bear them now.


Until now, y’all have asked nothing in my name. Y’all should ask, and y’all will receive, so that y’all’s joy may be complete.


But now I am coming to you, and I say these things while I am in the world, so that they may be filled up with my joy.


The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the bridegroom’s friend, who stands by and listens for him, rejoices greatly when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made complete.


when I travel to Spain, I will come to y’all. For I hope to see y’all on my journey and that y’all will help me on my way there after I enjoy your* company for a while.

We write these things to you so that our joy may be complete.


Therefore, if I come, I will call attention to the deeds he is doing, unjustly accusing us with wicked words. Not satisfied with this, he not only refuses to receive the siblings, he also forbids those who want to and throws them out of the church!
