So the people shouted and the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight in front of him, and they took the city.


When they make a long blast with the ram’s horn and when y’all hear the sound of the trumpet, have all the army give a loud shout. Then the city wall will fall down flat, and the people are to go up, every man straight in front of him.”


When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. Then the Spirit of YHWH came mightily on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that was burned with fire, and his bands dropped from off his hands.


When the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, “What does the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean?” They understood that the ark of YHWH had come into the camp.
