Then the king answered the woman, “Please don’t hide anything from me that I ask you.” The woman said, “Let my lord the king now speak.”


Y’all must tell Amasa, ‘Are you not my bone and my flesh? May God deal with me, and more also, if you aren’t captain of the army before me continually in place of Joab.’”


All the people came to urge David to eat bread while it was yet day; but David swore, saying, “God do so to me, and more also, if I taste bread or anything else, until the sun goes down.”


God do so to Abner, and more also, if I don’t do for David as YHWH has sworn to him:


The king said to him, “How many times do I have to adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of YHWH?”


Then he said, “May God deal with me, and even more so, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat stays on him today.”


Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don’t let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.


Then Zedekiah the king sent and took Jeremiah the prophet to himself into the third entry that is in the house of YHWH. Then the king said to Jeremiah, “I am going to ask you something. Do not hide anything from me.”


Then Jeremiah the prophet said to them, “I have heard y’all. I will pray to YHWH y’all’s God according to your* words. Whatever YHWH answers, I will tell y’all. I will keep nothing back from y’all.”


Then Daniel (whose name was also Belteshazzar), was stricken mute for a while, and his thoughts troubled him. The king answered, “Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream or the interpretation, trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered, “My lord, may the dream be for those who hate you, and its interpretation to your adversaries.


Should it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is the Spirit of YHWH angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”


He came to him, and saw that he was standing by his burnt offering with the officials of Moab. Balak said to him, “What has YHWH spoken?”


But Jesus stayed silent. The high priest answered him, “I charge you under oath by the living God: tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.”


Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May YHWH deal with me severely if anything but death parts you and me.”


Saul said, “May God do this to me and more also. For you must die-die, Jonathan.”


YHWH do so to Jonathan and more also, should it please my father to do you evil, if I don’t disclose it to you and send you away, that you may go in peace. May YHWH be with you as he has been with my father.


May God do to the enemies of David, and more also, if by the morning I leave anyone who urinates on a wall alive.”


Then Eli called Samuel and said, “Samuel, my son!” He said, “Here I am.”
