He gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which YHWH has spoken: The altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”


As for you, arise and go to your house. When your feet enter into the city, the child will die.


This will be a sign to y’all: y’all will find a baby wrapped in cloth and lying in a feeding trough.”


Let it be, when these signs have come to you, that you do what is appropriate for the occasion; for God is with you.


The man of yours whom I don’t cut off from my altar will consume your eyes and grieve your heart. All the increase of your house will die in the flower of their age.


In that day I will perform against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from the beginning even to the end.

She said, “The glory has departed from Israel; for the ark of God has been taken.”
