The king of Israel went out and struck the horses and chariots, and killed the Syrians with a great slaughter.


Though an army should encamp against me, my heart will not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.


David behaved himself wisely in all his ways, and YHWH was with him.


Then the princes of the Philistines went out. Every time they went out, David was more prudent than all the servants of Saul, and his name became highly esteemed.


Jonathan called David, and Jonathan showed him all those things. Then Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence as before.


An evil spirit from YHWH was on Saul as he sat in his house with his spear in his hand; and David was playing music with his hand.


David and his men went to Keilah and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their livestock, and killed them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
