I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you, so that you don’t have carry it alone.


YHWH came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was on him, and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.


But two men remained in the camp. The name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad; and the Spirit rested on them. They were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the Tent; and they prophesied in the camp.


Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all YHWH’s people were prophets, that YHWH would put his Spirit on them!”


Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’


The Spirit of YHWH came mightily on him, and he tore him as he would have torn a young goat with his bare hands, but he didn’t tell his father or his mother what he had done.


When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. Then the Spirit of YHWH came mightily on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that was burned with fire, and his bands dropped from off his hands.

As he turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart, and all those signs happened that day.
