1 Samuel 10:3 - Y'all Version Bible

3 “Then you will go on forward from there, and you will come to the oak of Tabor. Three men will meet you there going up to God to Bethel: one carrying three young goats, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a container of wine.

He called the name of that place Bethel, though the name of the city had been Luz.


then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, will be God’s house. Of all that you will give me I will give-give a tenth to you.”


God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel, and live there. Make there an altar to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau your brother.”


Let’s arise and go up to Bethel. I will make there an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me on the way which I went.”


You have created the north and the south. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.


“So Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the guard according to the word of YHWH, and said to me, ‘Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin. The right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours. Buy it for yourself.’ “Then I knew that this was the word of YHWH.


“‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he is to offer a male without defect.


The grain offering with it is to be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering for YHWH for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it is to be a quarter of a hin of wine.


“‘If his offering is a goat, then he is to offer it before YHWH.


“‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to YHWH is from the flock, either male or female, he is to offer it without defect.


He is to offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving with cakes of leavened bread.


It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth Tabor. It went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.


The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh. Their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.


The children of Israel arose, went up to Bethel, and asked counsel of God. They asked, “Who will go up for us first to battle against the children of Benjamin?” YHWH said, “Judah first.”


The children of Israel went up and wept before YHWH until evening, and they asked of YHWH, saying, “Should we go up again in battle against the sons of Benjamin our brothers?” YHWH said, “Y’all must go up against them.”


The children of Israel asked YHWH (for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,


They told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor.


She sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh Naphtali and said to him, “Hasn’t YHWH, the God of Israel, commanded, ‘Go and lead the way to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men from the children of Naphtali and the children of Zebulun?


Then he said to Zebah and Zalmunna, “What kind of men did y’all kill at Tabor?” They answered, “They were like you. Each one resembled the children of a king.”


They will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you will receive from their hand.
