Therefore it will happen that when the Lord has performed his whole work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the willful proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the insolence of his arrogant looks.


Look! I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that is called by my name, and y’all will go unpunished? Y’all will not be unpunished, for I will call down a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth, says YHWH Almighty.”’


For YHWH says: “See, if those who weren’t sentenced to drink the cup will drink-drink it, then why should you go unpunished-unpunished? You will not go unpunished, but you will drink-drink.


Y’all are to slaughter the old men, the young men, the virgins, the little children, and the women. But y’all must not approach any man who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary!” Then they began with the old men who were before the house.


“I have only chosen y’all from all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish y’all for all of y’all’s sins.”


I will come near to y’all for judgment. I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, adulterers, perjurers, and those who exploit laborers, widows, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says YHWH Almighty.


For if they do these things when wood is wet, what will happen when it is dry?”


Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,


affliction and distress on every soul of human who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.


Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched y’all, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly portrayed as crucified?


Y’all were running well! Who cut in to stop y’all from obeying the truth?


So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all people, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.


In a blazing fire, he will punish those who don’t know God and who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.


but if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

y’all also, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.


and, “a stumbling stone and a rock of offense.” For they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, as they were also appointed to do.
