This gospel of the empire will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the ethnic groups, and then the end will come.


For then there will be great oppression, such as has not happened from the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will be.


“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has set over the household, to give them their food in due season?


In the same way, the one with the two talents gained another two.


“Then they will also answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t care for you?’


For the Son of Humanity also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”


The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their allowance of food at the proper time?


He called ten servants of his and gave them ten mina coins, and told them, ‘Y’all are to do business with this until I come back.’

May the Lord grant that he will find the Lord’s mercy on that day. And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.


As a household manager for God, the overseer must be unaccusable, not arrogant, not quick-tempered, not always around wine, not violent, not greedy for dishonest gain,


For God is not unjust. Hᴇ will not forget y’all’s work and the love y’all have shown toward ʜɪꜱ name by serving the saints and continuing to serve them.


But after y’all have suffered a little while, may the God of all grace, who called y’all to his eternal glory in Christ, restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish y’all.


Through Silvanus, our faithful sibling, as I consider him, I have written to y’all briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it, y’all!
