Then your servant said, ‘Please let the word of my lord the king bring rest; for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad. May YHWH, your God, be with you.’”


All the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.


This request pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.


All Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged, and they were in awe of the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to do justice.


May YHWH give you discretion and understanding, and put you in charge of Israel, so that you may keep the law of YHWH your God.


and give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.”


Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of yours?”


Your testimonies are righteous forever. Give me understanding, that I may live. QOPH


Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.


Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.


The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way, but the folly of fools is deceit.


How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.


The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, YHWH has made even both of them.


Wisdom is as good as an inheritance. Yes, it is more excellent for those who see the sun.

Hᴇ changes the times and the seasons. Hᴇ removes kings and sets up kings. Hᴇ gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding.

I can do nothing by myself. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous, because I don’t seek my own will, but the will of ʜɪᴍ who sent me.


To the one we are an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?


not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.


Therefore, y’all must not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.


so that y’all may discern the things what is best, that y’all may be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ,


But solid food is for the mature, who by practicing habits of the mind are able to discern between excellence and worthlessness.


But if any of y’all lacks wisdom, that person should ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to them.


But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and without hypocrisy.
