1 Kings 2:3 - Y'all Version Bible

3 Keep the instruction of YHWH your God: walk in his ways, and keep ʜɪꜱ statutes, ʜɪꜱ commandments, ʜɪꜱ ordinances, and ʜɪꜱ testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself.

He put garrisons in Edom. Throughout all Edom, he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became servants to David. YHWH gave victory to David wherever he went.


Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought tribute. YHWH gave victory to David wherever he went.


Solomon loved YHWH, walking in the statutes of David his father, except that he sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.


YHWH was with him. Wherever he went, he prospered. He rebelled against the king of Assyria, and didn’t serve him.


and give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.”


I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.


You have commanded your statutes in righteousness. They are fully trustworthy.


Blessed are those who keep ʜɪꜱ statutes, who seek ʜɪᴍ with their whole heart.


The law of YHWH is perfect, restoring the soul. The covenant of YHWH is sure, making wise the simple.


This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.


Y’all must remain at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting day and night for seven days, and y’all must keep YHWH’s command so that y’all don’t die for this is what I have commanded.”


“Y’all must remember the law of Moses my servant, even statutes and ordinances, which I gave to him in Horeb for all Israel.


We took their land, and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites.


Therefore, y’all are to keep the words of this covenant and do them, that y’all may prosper in all that y’all do.


“Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the ordinances which I teach y’all to do, so that y’all may live and go in and take possession of the land which YHWH, the God of y’all’s ancestors, is giving y’all.


These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances which Moses spoke to the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt,


Look, I have taught y’all statutes and ordinances, even as YHWH my God commanded me, that y’all would do them in the land y’all are entering to take possession of it.


What great nation is there that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law which I set before y’all today?


Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, “Listen, Israel, to the statutes and the ordinances which I declare in y’all’s ears today. Y’all must learn them and attend to doing them.”


But y’all must be careful to obey the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of YHWH commanded y’all, to love YHWH y’all’s God, to walk in all ʜɪꜱ ways, to keep ʜɪꜱ commandments, to hold fast to ʜɪᴍ, and to serve ʜɪᴍ with all y’all’s heart and with all y’all’s soul.”


“Therefore y’all are to be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, without turning away from it to the right hand or to the left,


David behaved himself wisely in all his ways, and YHWH was with him.


Then the princes of the Philistines went out. Every time they went out, David was more prudent than all the servants of Saul, and his name became highly esteemed.


David went out wherever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely, and Saul set him over the men of war. It was good in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.
