And we all, with unveiled faces are reflecting the glory of the Lord, being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, according to the Lord, who is the Spirit.


For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.


Now, little children, y’all must continue to abide in him so that when he appears we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.


This is how we know that we have come to know ʜɪᴍ: if we keep ʜɪꜱ commandments.


The one who says, “I know him,” and yet doesn’t keep ʜɪꜱ commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in that person.


Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. But we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is.


Anyone born of God doesn’t practice sin, because God’s seed remains in them. They can’t go on sinning, because they are born of God.


The one who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.


We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but the one who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot touch them.


Beloved, don’t imitate what is evil, but what is good. Anyone who does good is of God. Anyone who does evil hasn’t seen God.
