The way of the wicked is like darkness. They don’t know what they stumble over.


The wise person has eyes in their head, but the fool walks in darkness. Yet I came to realize that the same event comes to them all.


“‘You must not hate your sibling in your heart. You must rebuke-rebuke your neighbor, and not incur sin because of him.


Then Jesus said to them, “Y’all are only going to have the light for a little while longer. Walk while y’all have the light, so that darkness doesn’t overtake y’all. Whoever walks in the darkness doesn’t know where they are going.


“Hᴇ has blinded their eyes and ʜᴇ hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and would turn, and I would heal them.”


But their minds were hardened, for to this day, when the old covenant is read, the same veil remains. It has not been drawn back, because only in Christ does it fade away.


The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, would not shine on them.


For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.


The one lacking these things is blind and short-sighted, having forgotten the cleansing from their past sins.


If we say that we have fellowship with ʜɪᴍ and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t practice the truth.


Anyone who loves their sibling remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in them.


Anyone who claims to be in the light and hates their sibling is in the darkness even until now.


Whoever hates their sibling is a murderer, and y’all know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.


Anyone who says, “I love God,” but hates their sibling, is a liar. For whoever doesn’t love their sibling whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.


Because you say, ‘I am wealthy and have become wealthy, and I need nothing.’ But you don’t know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.
