And the scribes, and the pharises, began to think saying: What fellow is this: which speaketh blasphemy? Who can forgive sins, but God only?


The jewes answered him saying: For thy good works' sake we stone thee not: but for thy blasphemy, and because that thou being a man, makest thyself God.


say ye then to him, whom the father hath sanctified, and sent into the world: Thou blasphemest, because I said I am the son of God?


¶ When the apostles, Barnabas and Paul heard that, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying
