¶ Woe be unto you blind guides, for ye say: whosoever swear by the temple, it is nothing: but whosoever swear by the gold of the temple, he is debtor.


Ye fools and blind? whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold.


Ye fools and blind: whether is greater the offering, or the altar which sanctifieth the offering?


But ye say: a man shall say to his father or mother Corban, that is, whatsoever thing I offer, that same doeth profit thee.


I testify again to every man which is circumcised that he is bound to keep the whole law.
