And he gave her never a word to answer. Then came to him his disciples, and besought him saying: send her away, for she followeth us crying.


¶ Then were brought to him young children, that he should put his hands on them and pray. And his disciples rebuked them.


And behold, ij. blind men sitting by the wayside, when they heard, that Iesus passed by, cried saying: Master the son of David have mercy on us.


Then Iesus stood still, and called them, and said: what will ye that I should do to you?


¶ And as Iesus departed thence, two blind men followed him crying, and saying: O thou son of David, have mercy on us.


And they which went before rebuked him, because he should hold his peace. And he much the more cried, The son of David, have mercy on me.


¶ Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving,
