¶ Another similitude put he forth, unto them saying: The kingdom of heaven is like unto a man which sowed good seed in his field.


And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no man should be saved. But for the elects' sake, which he hath chosen, he hath shortened those days.


It is like leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three bushels of flour, till all was thorow leavened.


Every branch that beareth not fruit in me, He will take away. And every branch that beareth fruit will he purge that it may bring more fruit.


A little leaven doth leaven the whole lump of dough.


and am surely certified of this, that he which began a good work in you shall perform it until the day of Iesus Christ,


And this I pray, that your love may increase more and more in knowledge, and in all fealing,


but grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord, and saviour Iesus Christ. To whom be glory both now and for ever, Amen.
