¶ And when he was come out into the way, there came one running and kneeled to him, and asked him: Good Master, what shall I do, that I may inherit eternal life?


And if any man say unto you: why do ye so? say that the Lord hath need of him: and straightway he will send him hither.


And he sent forth two of his disciples, and said unto them: Go ye into the city, and there shall a man meet you bearing a pitcher of water, follow him.


And he will shew you a great parlour, paved, and prepared: there make ready for us.


and ye shall say unto the good man of the house. The master sayeth: Where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat mine ester lamb with my disciples?


And as soon as she had so said she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly saying: The master is come and calleth for thee.


ye call me master and Lord, and ye say well, for so am I.


Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and will sup with him, and he with me.
