And he said unto them: take heed what ye hear. With what measure ye mete, with the same shall it be measured unto you again. And unto you that have shall more be given.


Then said Iesus: Father forgive them, for they wot not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.


Blessed are ye when men hate you, and thrust you out of their company, and rail on you, and abhor your name, as an evil thing, for the son of man's sake.


Love ye your enemies, do good, and lend, looking for nothing again: and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the highest: for he is kind unto the unkind, and to the evil.


That in the good ground, are they which with a good and pure heart, hear the word, and keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.


Take heed therefore how ye hear. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given: And whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken, even that same which he supposeth that he hath.


And some fell on good ground, and sprang up and bare fruit, an hundred fold. And as he said these things, he cried: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.


After that God had anointed Iesus of Nazareth with the holy ghost, and with power, he went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed with devils, for God was with him.


Paul cried with a loud voice saying: Do thyself no harm, for we are all here.


And he kneeled down and cried with a loud voice: Lord impute not this sin unto them, For they wote not what they do. And when he had thus spoken he fell asleep.


While we have therefore time let us do good unto all men, and specially, unto them which are of the household of faith.


See that none recompense evil for evil unto any man: but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.


¶ Dearly beloved counterfeit not that which is evil, but that which is good: He that doeth well is of God: but he that doeth evil seeth not God.
