and the younger of them said to his father: father give me my part of the goods that to me belongeth. And he divided unto them his substance.


And he said: of a truth I say unto you, this poor widow hath put in more than they all.


¶ And a woman having an issue of blood twelve year (which had spent all her substance among Physicians, neither could be helped of any)


Neither was there any among them that lacked. For as many as were possessors of lands or houses, sold them and brought the price of the things that were sold,


For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
