I say unto you: though he would not arise and give him, because he is his friend: Yet because of his importunity he would rise and give him as many as he needeth.


And there was a certain widow in the same city, which came unto him saying: Avenge me of mine adversary.


And they which went before rebuked him, because he should hold his peace. And he much the more cried, The son of David, have mercy on me.


but I tame my body and bring him into subjection, lest after that I have preached to other, I myself should be a castaway.
