¶ Ask and it shall be given you: Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.


And he said unto them: why are ye fearful, o ye endowed with little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there followed a great calm.


¶ And as Iesus departed thence, two blind men followed him crying, and saying: O thou son of David, have mercy on us.


¶ Woe be to you lawyers: for ye have taken away the key of knowledge, ye entered not in yourselves, and them that came in ye forbade.


¶ He put forth a similitude unto them, signifying that men ought always to pray, and not to be weary, saying:


¶ They brought unto him also babes, that he should touch them. When his disciples saw that, they rebuked them.


And he cried, saying: Iesus the son of David, have mercy on me.


Iesus stood still, and commanded him, to be brought unto him. And when he was come near, he asked him


And some of the pharises of the company, said unto him: Master rebuke thy disciples.


¶ While he yet spake, there came one from the rulers of the synagogi's house, which said to him: Thy daughter is dead, disease not the master.


For this thing besought I the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me:
