Then Iesus answered and said. I praise thee o father Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast opened them unto babes,


When he was gone out into the porch, another wench saw him, and said unto them that were there: This fellow was also with Iesus of Nazareth:


And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said unto Peter: surely thou art even one of them, for thy speech betrayeth thee.


And he sent Peter, and Ihon saying: Go and prepare us the ester lamb, that we may eat.


When Iesus saw his mother, and the disciple standing whom he loved, he said unto his mother: Woman behold thy son.


And the jewes marvelled, saying: How knoweth he the scriptures? seeing that he never learned.


But the common people which know not the law are a cursed.


Seeing also the man which was healed standing with them, they could not say against it,


But Peter and Ihon answered unto them and said: whether it be right in the sight of God to obey you more than God judge ye.


And now Lord behold their threatenings, and grant unto thy servants with all confidence to speak thy word.


And as soon as they had prayed, the place moved where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God boldly.


But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and told them how he had seen the Lord in the way and had spoken with him: and how he had done boldly at Damascon in the name of Iesu,


And he had his conversation with them at Ierusalem,


But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world, to confound the wise. And hath chosen the weak things of the world, to confound things which are mighty.


and so are the secrets of his heart opened: and then falleth he down on his face, and worshippeth god, and saith that god is with you indeed.


¶ Seeing then that we have such trust we use great boldness,
