¶ And the people asked him, saying: What shall we do then.


¶ Then came there publicans to be baptised, and said unto him: Master, what shall we do?


¶ The soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying: and what shall we do? And he said to them: Do violence to no man: neither trouble any man wrongfully: And be content with your wages.


As soon as they heard that, they went out one by one the eldest first. And Iesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.


Ye men and brethren, this scripture must needs be fulfilled which the holy ghost thorow the mouth of David spake before of Iudas, which was guide to them that took Iesus.


And I said: what shall I do Lord? And the Lord said unto me: Arise and go into Damascon and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.


When they heard that they clave asunder, and sought means to slay them.


¶ When they heard these things, their hearts clave asunder, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.


I once lived without law: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I was dead.
