The sick answered him: Sir I have no man when the water is moved, to put me into the pool. But in the mean time, while I am about to come, another steppeth down before me.


After they had preached to that city, and taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium and Antioche,


they were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derba, cities of Licaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about,


¶ Then came he to Derba and Listra. And behold a certain disciple was there named Timotheus, a woman's son which was a jewess and believed, but his father was a greek.


And there was a certain man halt from his mother's womb, whom they brought and laid at the gate of the temple called beautiful, to ask his alms of them that entered into the temple.


if we this day are examined of the good deed done to the sick man by what means he is made whole:
