For strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life: and few there be, that find it.


¶ Fear not little flock, for it is your father's pleasure, to give you a kingdom.


They that gladly received his preaching were baptised, And the same day, there were added unto them about a three thousand souls.


Even so, God willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, suffered with long patience the vessels of wrath, ordained to damnation,


to sanctify it, and cleansed it in the fountain of water thorow the word,


¶ By faith Noah honoured God, after that he was warned of things which were not seen, and prepared the ark to the saving of his household, throwe the which ark he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which cometh by faith.


¶ And for as much as ye have purified your souls thorow the spirit, in obeying the truth for to love brotherly without feigning, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:


receiving the end of your faith, the health of your souls.


For ye were as sheep which go astray: but are now returned unto the shepherd, and bishop of your souls.


¶ In which spirit, he also went and preached unto the spirits that were in prison,


Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God, commit their souls to him with well doing, as unto a faithful creator.


neither spared the old world: but saved Noah the eighte preacher of righteousness, and brought in the flood into the world of the ungodly,


And suppose that the long suffering of the Lord is health, even as our dearly beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given unto him, wrote to you,
