I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: for they have supplied what was wanting on your part.


For this cause I Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, (Seeing ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God,


I therefore the prisoner of the Lord beseech you, to walk worthy of the calling wherewith ye are called,


As it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, who were all partakers of my grace, both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel.


Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his own life, to supply your deficiency of service toward me.


Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timotheus a brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow-labourer,


I beseech thee for my son, whom I have begotten in my bonds, Onesimus, Who was formerly unprofitable to thee,
