Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing; but the flesh is weak.


Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the world.


But let your conversation be yea, yea; nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these, cometh of the evil one.


Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.


I do not pray, that thou wouldest take them out of the world, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil one.


There hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above your ability, but will with the temptation make also a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.


Otherwise if thou givest thanks with the Spirit, how shall he that filleth the place of a private person, say Amen to thy thanksgiving, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?


For all the promises of God are yea in him, and amen in him, to the glory of God by us.


(that he might deliver us from the present evil world ) according to the will of God and our Father,


to serve the living and true God, And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he hath raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath to come.


But the Lord is faithful, who will stablish and guard you from the evil one.


Now to the king of eternity, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever, Amen.


And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment.


for your adversary the devil, walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour:


The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unrighteous to the day of judgment to be punished.


He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning: to this end the son of God was manifested, to destroy the works of the devil.


And he that liveth and was dead, and behold I am alive for evermore, and have the keys of death and of Hades.


After this I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Hallelujah: The salvation, and the glory, and the power to our God.


And the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures fell down, and worshiped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen, Hallelujah.


Fear none of those things which thou art about to suffer: behold the devil is about to cast some of you into prison that ye may be tried, and ye shall have affliction ten days: Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.


And he shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall sorrow, or crying, or pain, be any more; because the former things are gone away.


Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee, from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.


And to the angel of the church at Laodicea write, These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.


and the strength, and the honour, and the glory, and the blessing. And every creature which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, I heard them all saying, To him that sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb, is the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the power, for ever and ever.
