Then was brought to him a demoniac, blind and dumb; and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.


At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the fame of Jesus, And said to his servants, This is John the Baptist:


And behold a woman of Canaan, of those coasts, came and cried to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David: my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.


kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic, and suffereth grievously; for often he falleth into the fire and often into the water.


Bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil, and he went out of him, and the child was cured from that hour.


And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease, and all manner of malady among the people.


And when he was come to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two demoniacs, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man could pass by that way.


But they that kept them fled, and going into the city, told every thing, and what had befallen the demoniacs.


beseeching him, and saying, Lord, my servant lieth in the house, ill of the palsy, grievously tormented.


And the fame of it went abroad into all that country.


And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease, and every malady among the people.


And immediately his fame went forth into all the country of Galilee round about.


And in the evening, when the sun was set, they brought to him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.


And he spake the word to them. And they come to him, bringing a paralytic, borne of four.


And not being able to come nigh him for the croud, they uncovered the roof where he was, and having broken it up, they let down the couch whereon the paralytic lay.


Which is easier? To say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven thee?


(Now this first inrolment was made, when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)


And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and there went out a fame of him, thro' all the region round about.


And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was ill of a fever, and they besought him for her.


But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him, and great multitudes came together, to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities.


But that ye may know, that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (he said to the paralytic) I say to thee, Arise, take up thy couch, and go to thine house.


And this rumour of him went forth through all Judea, and all the country round about.


Others said, These are not the words of one that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?


How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him.


Writing thus by their hand, The apostles, and the elders, and the brethren salute the brethren who are of the Gentiles, in Antioch, and Syria, and Cilicia.


And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.


And when this was done, the rest also in the island who had disorders,


For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many that had them, and many sick of the palsy and lame were healed.
