Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, going to the chief priests,


Rise; let us be going: behold he that betrayeth me is at hand.


Now he that betrayed him, had given them a signal, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, is he; seize him.


In that hour Jesus said to the multitude, Are ye come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple and ye took me not.


Men, brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost spake before by the mouth of David, concerning Judas, who was guide to them that took Jesus.
