When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him.


saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold thy king cometh to thee, meek and sitting on an ass, even a colt, the fole of an ass.


And Jesus stood before the governour. And the governour questioned him, saying, Art thou the king of the Jews? And Jesus said to him, Thou sayest.


Saying, Blessed be the king that cometh in the name of the Lord: Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.


For to you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.


And Pilate asked him saying, Art thou the king of the Jews?


And a superscription also was written over him in Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew letters, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you, to the churches, these things. I am the root and the off-spring of David, the bright, the morning-star. And the spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.
