Now the birth of Christ was on this wise: His mother Mary, being espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.


While he yet talked to the multitude, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him.


Then they that were in the vessel, came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.


And seeing the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.


For we have seen his star in the East, and are come to worship him.


And they came with haste, and found Mary and Joseph and the babe lying in the manger.


And she coming in at that hour, gave thanks to the Lord, and spake of him to all that were waiting for redemption in Jerusalem.


And Nicodemus also came (who at first had come to Jesus by night) bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pounds.


And I fell before his feet to worship him: but he saith to me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.


And when he took the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one an harp, and golden phials full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
