But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she crieth after us.


But he turning said to Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan; thou art an offence to me: for thou savourest not the things of God, but the things of men.


Then Jesus saith to him, Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.


And looking round on them who sat about him, he said, Behold my mother and my brethren.


But they held their peace. And looking round upon them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth: and his hand was restored.


And the Lord turning looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord,


And Jesus answering said to him, Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.


But he turning rebuked them and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of:


with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one to Satan, for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.


whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame;


Those that sin, rebuke before all, that the rest may fear.


This witness is true; therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;


Seeing then Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind:


Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world: if any one love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.


Whomsoever I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous and repent.
