And he saith to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? To save life or to kill?


The Lord answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each of you loose his ox or ass from the stall on the sabbath, and lead him away to watering!


And seeing them, he said to them, Go, shew yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed.


To save life, or to kill? And looking round upon them all, he said to him, Stretch forth thy hand; and he did so: and his hand was restored as the other.


And said to him, Go wash at the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went therefore, and washed, and came seeing.


Brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, (lest ye should be wise in your own conceits) that hardness is in part happened to Israel, till the fulness of the Gentiles be come in:


But their understandings were blinded: and until this day the same veil remaineth unremoved on the reading of the old testament, which is taken away in Christ.


Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, by the ignorance that is in them, through the hardness of their hearts:


Be ye angry, and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath,


And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.


Therefore I was grieved with that generation and said, They always err in their hearts, and they have not know my ways.


Were they not all that came out of Egypt by Moses? And with whom was he grieved forty years? Was it not with them who had sinned?


became the author of eternal salvation to all that obey him,


And said to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and cover us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.
